It wasn’t clear to me on this stay and the previous two how they assign campsites. Then we repeatedly noticed that other pull-thru sites were assigned to people who only stayed one night. We accepted the back-in site, but was very confused and somewhat frustrated when we observed several pull-thru sites remaining open during our stay. Neither of these two people could find any notation on our reservations. The manager was then called (Mora?) who also stated that the campgrounds was looked solid. The lady at the front desk, stated that the campgrounds was full and that they did not have any pull-thru sites available. However, when we arrived we were assigned a back-in site. She responded that she would make a notation on our reservations. To that I asked if it was at all possible, I would like a site near the office. The lady who answered the phone said that should not be a problem. When we called to make our reservations on Thursday, March 17 we specially requested a pull-thru site for five (5) days.
The latest incident occurred on Friday, March 25. The last three times we have stayed here we encountered a problem with our campsite. We have stayed there many times since the RV Park initially opened. Let me start out by saying that the Winstar RV Park is very nice with more amenities than a lot of private RV parks.
